There are many reasons you should choose SpineCare Chiropractic for your health care needs:
Principally, we are a service-oriented business rather than a business-oriented service, which means that we put our expertise and energy into resolving your problems as quickly and efficiently as possible rather than trying to build our business by keeping you coming back for repetitive treatments or services you don't really need. This is the basis for our motto "short-term care . . . long-term results." We believe your treatment in our office should be viewed as a relationship, not a transaction. We schedule a full hour of one-on-one time with the doctor for your first visit and 30 minutes for ongoing care. Our office is located in a beautiful 1924 estate home in historic downtown Hillsboro, and in addition to the many positive reviews of our treatment, many of our patients comment on the relaxed and friendly atmosphere in our office.
Dr. Wright has more than 20 years of clinical experience, covering a wide range of acute and chronic conditions. In addition to his doctorate degree, he holds a Bachelor of Science degree in human biology and was previously licensed as a massage therapist. Gillian has over six years of experience as a massage therapist, including a two-year intensive internship with Dr. Wright at SpineCare Chiropractic at the beginning of her career. They work together as a team in the office, co-treating and consulting on each other's clients, and regularly attend at least 40 hours of continuing education each year in advanced myotherapy and massage techniques. They both have a well-deserved reputation for compassionate care and excellent treatment outcomes.
In addition to his extensive clinical experience, Dr. Wright has served as an independent consultant for the insurance industry for the past 18 years, performing independent medical examinations and medical record reviews, and testifying in court as a bodily injury expert witness. With this background, our treatment and documentation is based on scientific research and proven outcomes and is to a very high standard of care.
One emphasis of our practice is the resolution of chronic conditions. If your physician has told you that you "have to live with it," or if you have not seen good results with physical therapy, please consider coming to us for an evaluation. If we think we can help you, we will explain what we find, the reasoning behind the recommended therapy, and what outcome you can reasonably expect. Our therapies are very effective due to our 3-dimensional understanding of the muscular system and our direct hands-on approach.
