Massage therapy is the perfect complement to chiropractic care. Our clinic focuses on therapeutic and rehabilitative massage techniques and advanced myotherapy techniques that are highly effective in resolving a wide range of conditions.
We have specialized therapeutic techniques for both acute injuries and chronic conditions—and many satisfied clients. Conditions that respond well to massage and manual therapy techniques include injuries from motor vehicle accidents, and work related injuries, as well as chronic problems associated with office ergonomics and repetitive motion.
Therapeutic massage is a covered treatment under auto injury insurance and workers’ compensation insurance, and is covered by many private health plans when performed under a chiropractic physician’s supervision for medically necessary therapeutic benefit.
Therapeutic Massage techniques can be very effective for a wide range of symptoms, including but not limited to headache, jaw pain, numbness and tingling in the hands, abdominal pain, low back pain, and hip and lower leg pain.
If you have questions about the many benefits of therapeutic massage and how it may help you, please call our office. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
Most work related injuries are traumatically created muscle strain injuries that respond very well to our hands-on, drug-free approach. You do not need a medical doctor’s referral in order to receive chiropractic care under your workers’ compensation benefits.
Under Oregon law, your chiropractor can serve as your attending physician for 60 days or 18 treatments, which is usually sufficient time to fully resolve your injury. Your chiropractor can also authorize time loss and work duty modifications. After 60 days, a medical doctor can still refer you back to your chiropractor if you need additional care. Dr. Wright has greater than 25 years of clinical experience and has treated thousands of work related, auto related, or other related traumatic injuries. We have treated cases ranging from slip and fall incidents, field worker exertion injuries, computer related ergonomic injuries, and almost everything in between.
SpineCare Chiropractic uses scientifically based modalities such as therapeutic massage, electric muscle stimulation, ultrasound, traditional chiropractic manipulation, and home exercise programs to resolve your work related injury and return you to your normal activities as soon as possible. We understand that you can’t wait for care, and we will do everything possible to get you in to see the doctor within no more than 24 hours after you call us. We can appreciate that you don’t want to just cover up your pain with prescription medications, and we want to treat the source of your pain rather than try to treat the pain itself. This is the basis of our many clinical successes.
If you have questions about chiropractic care for workers’ compensation injuries, or are not sure if chiropractic treatment can help you, please call our office. Dr. Wright would be happy to speak to you and answer any questions you may have.
When you’ve been injured in an auto accident, you want fast pain relief and effective care that returns you to full pre-injury condition as soon as possible; you want that care well documented in order to preserve your legal rights and medical benefits.
SpineCare Chiropractic has been providing auto accident chiropractic services to the Hillsboro, Beaverton, and greater Washington County area since 1998. In addition to greater than 25 years of successful clinical practice treating auto accident and worker’s compensation injury patients, Dr. Wright has also served as a personal injury insurance consultant for over 18 years, performing peer-review audits such as independent medical examinations and medical record reviews. He also has served as an expert witness for personal injury arbitration and courtroom testimony. He is well qualified to treat your auto accident related injuries and properly document your need for treatment.
SpineCare Chiropractic offers service oriented, scientifically based, hands-on physical medicine supplied with a large dose of common sense. We employ time-proven modalities such as therapeutic massage, electric muscle stimulation, ultrasound, and traditional chiropractic manipulation to reduce your pain and heal your injuries, and we give you the tools that you need to help yourself, such as directed home exercise programs and nutritional support. At SpineCare Chiropractic, we are more interested in how rapidly we can heal your injuries rather than how many times we can get you to come back for more treatments. Our thinking is that if we give you exemplary service, you will be our best advertising.
Under Oregon law, you are entitled to up to $15,000 of medically necessary accident related medical expenses for up to one year following your accident. Your insurance company is prohibited from penalizing you in any way for using this state mandated insurance benefit. If there is another driver at fault, your insurance company will cover the cost of your care and then be reimbursed by the other driver’s insurance company. You do not require a referral from your primary care physician to receive chiropractic treatment under your auto accident policy, and your chiropractic physician can order x-rays, MRIs, and any other appropriate diagnostic testing in addition to referring you to any specialists that you may require for your auto accident related injuries.
Chiropractic treatment has been proven a highly effective therapy for injuries resulting from automobile accidents and is often the highest ranked in terms of patient satisfaction surveys. In addition to being more effective than pharmaceutical treatment, chiropractic care is a very safe therapy with side effects many magnitudes lower than those caused by prescription medications.
For any questions you have about car accident injuries and how chiropractic care can help, feel free to call our office. Dr. Wright or Gillian will be more than happy to clear up any questions, comments, or concerns you may have.
